Although, when AI or AGI emerges- it could be our doom due to competition for resources as it will need energy and increased computing power to grow exponentially, or it would treat us like a microbiome or help solve problems in ways which we could never do due to our bounded rationality and mental horse power in comparison.

We as human beings are in no position to a) imagine the motivations and moral leanings of AGI when it's IQ becomes God Like very soon after it achieves human intellect, b) there is nothing we can do once it grows to an awe inspiring level of mental horsepower and c) We may be projecting our own human failings regarding Ethics, morality and predict a doomsday scenario- hey five genocides are happening as I write this message.

However, I feel optimistic as we would be the equivalent of a microbiome for the AI and play a role in it's functioning. I see a collaborative future where we together to solve complex system problems in timescales under a second- e.g. pico /zeptoseconds.
