Hi Ashutosh,

Brilliant analysis and read! Look forward to reading more from you soon.

I am also interested in the Jain perspective also. And if you can recommend books or websites to learn more I would be grateful.

One aspect that fascinates me between the three religions in India is: Hinduism says we have a spirit and there is a God, Buddhism is no soul and we are all consciousness, the idea of a God is said to be not relevant or touched upon, in contrast Jainism as far as I understand it says there is a soul, no God and a self Governing Universe.

Although I am a theist and philosophy and Science lover- my Theism takes the form of the universe experiences itself through us and as conscious agents. We are the only species (Aliens don't matter) in the known cosmos, who are the only sources of ingenuity and creativity. We are the only ones who can direct our own fate. We are the only ones who are self-aware. And for all we know, we are the only shot the universe has at intelligent self-organisation.

So, I guess it makes sense for an Universe to have real and not fuzzy existence at best is through sentient beings such as ourselves. (discussed in my article on the Crisis we face, at: https://theoracle-philosophy-life-stem.medium.com/the-real-crisis-we-face-ddb8623aacda)

Peace and look forward to hearing your thoughts soon,

Best Wishes,

Avi
