Hi SemaKupa,
Excellent article. Learnt something I would never have otherwise come across.
That level of IQ must be frustrating and possibly a product of high functioning Asperger's/Autism?
Alternatively nature and nurture with his parents being a Psychotherapist and a Doctor, hothousing him?
His troubled adult years, run in with the law and loneliness most likely suggest a form of Autism.
It feels like what happened to Child Prodigy and my favourite Mathematician Ruth Lawrence. (See: https://rayanworld.com/20180912082549001/10-Women-With-High-IQ-They-re-Way-Smarter-You-d-Think?subarticle=5%23%3a%7e%3atext%3dRuth+Lawrence%3a+(IQ+175)+Ruth+Elke+Lawrence-Naimark+or%2cas+well+as+one+of+the+smartest+women.&msclkid=ff4da186c74311eca1566fa4583978ae).
Even Einstein had a troubled and lonlier existence due to his own work conflicting with his view on how mathematics works (i.e. his baby- the Quantum world which is probabilistic did not make sense unlike the elegance of the macro world). Read: "Einstein's Greatest Mistake: The Life of a Flawed Genius".
I personally have an IQ of 146 and was recommended reading the above book after people noticed I was becoming too ossified in my views and ways of working after I turned 30 y/o.
I have digressed.
Once again thank you for a beautiful article. I look forward to reading more soon.
Best Regards,
Avi
